I didn't build CertiBuild from a desk. I built it from 35 years in the dirt.
I've spent a lifetime in the field, and I've seen this industry at its best and at its absolute worst. I've watched real builders put their name, pride, and soul into every cut, every nail, and every finished detail. I know the quiet satisfaction of a job done right.
But I've also seen the wreckage left behind when somebody who isn't a professional is allowed to call themselves one.
When a homeowner gets burned by a hack, they don't just lose money. They lose trust. They lose peace of mind. And the next contractor who walks through that door — even if he is the real deal — has to pay for a mistake he didn't make.
That part stays with people. He has to work through doubt he didn't earn and rebuild confidence that another man threw away.
I got tired of watching good men get buried by that noise.
Somewhere along the way, professionalism got reduced to a popularity contest. Hard evidence got replaced with hearsay, reviews, polished sales talk, and surface-level impressions. That is not a standard. That is a gamble. And in this trade, a gamble always gets paid for by somebody.
So I built CertiBuild to hold the line.
I built it because I believe a contractor's history should be something solid — something documented, verifiable, and real that a homeowner can actually lean on instead of guessing. I wanted to create a place where the work speaks for itself, in the open, without paid placement, without empty stars, and without all the noise that keeps real professionals buried.
No opinions. No popularity. Just the record.
This is personal to me. I know what good work looks like, and I know exactly what bad work costs a family. I know there are still real builders out there who deserve to be seen for who they are, not lumped in with people who never should have been on the jobsite in the first place.
CertiBuild is for the contractor whose reputation is built on reality. It is for the homeowner who is done gambling. And it is for an industry I love — one that deserves to have its standards brought back into view.
I built this the only way I know how to build anything that lasts: with structure, with integrity, and without cutting corners.
This is for the builders who stand behind their work.
This is for the homeowners who deserve real proof.
This is for bringing the standard back.
